TOEFL and SAT

In order that the students can be better prepared for studying outside of Hungary, the school offers TOEFL and SAT preparation courses as well as registration for taking the tests in Hungary.  Both the TOEFL and SAT exams are used to determine eligibility for study in higher education institutes in North America.  For more details see www.ets/toefl for the TOEFL exam and www.collegeboard.com for the SAT. 

Final examination so called „ÉRETTSÉGI"

„Érettségi” is the name of the final exam students take after completing the requirements of the secondary school. The final examination can be taken at middle or higher level, and the result affects their possibilities for entering into univerities in Hungary. However it is good to know that for being accepted sometimes a successful higher level „érettségi” is compulsory. It is common in the school that in some subjects (as in English or Hungarian language) students take an early  „érettségi” in the second or third grade.
