How to apply.
- The best solution would be to first come and visit and experience the school, the atmosphere, and some lessons on one of our Open Days. During Open Days, if your native language is not English, you can fill out an English level test to see if your level of knowledge is sufficient.
- Complete the application form and send it to us by e-mail (info@bmegimnazium.hu) indicating which day you wish to take the English level test (this is not necessary for native English speakers, but we would like to conduct an oral interview with you).
- If you do not receive a reply to your application after couple of days, please send it again.
- Please come for an English level test at the time indicated by you.
- You will be assigned to a class after the level test. You will be admitted to the first grade provided that your English knowledge is sufficent, that is above 70% on the test. If your knowledge is below this, you will be admitted to the preparatory language class. Those with no previous English knowledge may be admitted to a special preparatory class for beginners. If a student cannot speak Hungarian or English, this is no problem.
- If you wish to be admitted to a higher grade, this would only be possible after successfully passing a written English level test for this purpose. There is also the possibility of being admitted first to the preparatory class and later continue studies at the level required (for example the 11th grade).
- The result of the English level test will be given the next day, and parents will be given the opportunity to discuss the decision.
